Frida Hotel Guangzhou Baiyun Airport

Location to airport was fantastic. Staff were friendly and accommodating despite our lack of Chinese language. Airport transfer was included and very reliable.

Old, tired building. Bathroom facilities in need of a clean. Hardest ‘beds’ I’ve ever slept in, and I’ve travelled to many places around the world.

Good location near the airport, great service with the airport shuttle. Convenient and easy to use.

It is in a random location, nothing nearby. The staff do not speak English , but with the use of technology you get by. The rooms are very simple- no English channels on tv, the bathroom/drainage stink. It’s a smoking hotel . The bed is absolutely woeful, in fact, I wouldn’t even call it a bed! It’s a plank of wood. We checked under the bed because my child dropped a toy, it was a mess. The kettle had water in it already. Very basic equipment and facilities. What more can you ask for with the price? However I would not recommend this hotel.

Although it is a reasonable distance on foot from the nearest subway station, Qingtang(清塘) Station, in addition to airport pickup, we also offer drop-off and pickup at the same subway station via WeChat, which was very useful during my stay. The drop-off to the airport is also set at 30-minute intervals from 3:00 am, so you can be fully assured that you will be able to catch your early morning flight.

The fact that the staff are a little short is a drawback. You may also have to wait a little for the bus to arrive, depending on the driver's availability.
