Hotel Münzgasse - Self Check-in

Walking distance from the train station. Very clean. Comes with fridge.

Would be great if they offer some english channels.

Is in an excellent location near old town, very walkable with luggage from the train station. Self-checkin procedure was easy to follow and we had no issues. Lift was available to avoid carrying bags up the stairs. Room was a good size and very clean. The luggage rack was large enough to lay out both our 68cm cases. Bed was very comfortable. Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The price for the room was very affordable by Luzern standards.

A trade-off to the great location is the noise. The noise from the street is very loud at both ends of the day. Better if windows are closed but room felt a bit stuffy all closed up. Beds were comfortable but could have used more pillows. The water pressure in the shower was adequate but not the best. No soft close on toilet seat (very minor but noisy if you forget!).

Lage ist top, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und der Altstadt. Zimmer hatte angenehme Grösse, sehr gute Betten, einen Safe und war sehr sauber. Geduld beim self-checkin, das Internet muss zuerst den Kampf gegen die dicken Häusermauern gewinnen. 🙃

Kleiner Tipp: Teppichboden durch anderes Material ersetzen, vorallem im Badezimmer aus hygienischen Gründen.

Sehr ruhige Lage.. Gut zu Fuss erreichbar vom Bahnhof her und erst noch auf schönem Weg der Reuss, Kappelenbrücke, etc. entlang.

The location was good and the room was clean and quiet at night.

Felt a bit compact for the price.
