Cabañas alto del aguila

Beautiful property, with lots of plants and animals. Really felt like we were in the jungle. Outside of town so not too loud, about a 15-20 min walk

It’s rustic and a lot like camping, but a magical place and very friendly.

Monkeys are cool. Beds are soft. Cute kitties.

If you are traveling with children, be aware the parrots are aggressive towards kids which kind of takes the fun out of it. I respect that the owners were pioneers of tourism in the area but this place could really use some love. The facilities are run down and it is very noisy in the mornings. A bit of a walk from town.

Such a friendly place set in a beautiful environment with nice friendly hosts. It was such a relaxing place to chill and be with nature. The monkeys and birds are a great spectacle for any one staying here. It is very basic accommodation but I knew that before I arrived so don't expect luxury.

Helena and Fray are just perfect hosts. Their employer, Johnathan, waits by the dock when your boat from Leticia arrives. He takes you to the general store in town to buy whatever food, snacks, drinks you would like to have (since the property is a 25-minute walk into town). He takes you by boat right to the property. Tours can be arranged directly through the property. They have multiple macaws and monkeys that come and perch on you and eat straight from your hand. The walk to town has a paved route and is a lovely sanctuary within nature to enjoy the Amazon.

If you are making multiple trips a day into town, it can be a bit far to walk several times in a day.

The owner is very sweet and nice :) I spent lovely time there. The location is amazing

The location was wonderful and the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. Lot's of wildlife around and our guide, Jonathan was exceptional
