Schwarzwaldhotel Sonne

The staff was very accommodating and had great suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. We travelled with our 6 month old baby and they had a crib set up in the room and a high chair ready at breakfast every morning. The breakfast was delicious and the location was great; a short drive into Baden Baden and right at the start of the Schwartzwaldhochstrasse.

La "chambre" pour 3 adultes était un véritable appartement avec 2 très belles chambres, un très grand salon et une très grande salle de bains avec cabine de douche et baignoire. Il y avait même une cuisine.

La robinetterie de la douche est perfectible. Lors du petit déjeuner les œufs (omelette, plat, brouillés) sont en supplément. Il y a un parking privatif mais sans doute trop petit lorsque l'hôtel est complet.

L'hotel est très propre, le patron très accueillant, et le petit déjeuner est fantastique !!! D'ailleurs ce n'est pas un petit déjeuner, on dirait que le traiteur est passé pour un mariage ou un baptême...Le personnel est aux petits soins le matin. Même sans avoir couché à l'hotel, tout le monde peut venir y prendre son petit déjeuner, et les locaux ne se privent pas d'y venir !

L'hotel a une très bonne localisation et les chambres une jolie vue. Le maître d'hôtel était incroyablement gentil, attentionné et donnait de bons conseils. La chambre est vraiment grande et confortable, de même que la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel, il y a beaucoup de choix sucré et salé. Tout est très bon. Ce fut une vraie pause de confort au cœur de la forêt noire. Nous aurions dû y séjourner plus longtemps. Tout était parfait

Great find just outside of Baden Baden. On the bus route into town. Oliver was very welcoming and gave us lots of very useful information about the area.. the room was very comfortable and the dining area was absolutely pristine with beautiful starched white table cloths and colourful flowers. The breakfast was amazing. I have never seen such a delicious selection of food .. We were offered a full selection of omelettes and eggs of our choice . Oliver has a real passion for classic cars and follows the theme throughout the property which was quirky and fun.
