La chambre d'appel dont la belle photo est alléchante, 'est jamais libre alors on en a une autre beaucoup moins confortable

Didn't,t have breakfast because it was too expensive. Check-in was poor.Reception was suppose to be open duty it wasn't It was a stroke of luck of entering the reception area & waiting for the bell to be answered & looking @ the tourist information material that I spotted the room key on the sideboard by the tourist leaflets. My room(7) not suitable for a large person due to narrow Ness of the bathroom.

Historic, quaint, charming

The toilet clogged twice in 2 days, but the staff willingly changed my room.

Location

We had booked superior double rooms which we found to be comfortable; however, we were disappointed by the lack of expected facilities. At breakfast, for example, there were only two teapots being shared among all the guests, and we were unable to get a bowl when requested for cereal. There was also an insufficient supply of cutlery—I had to share mine with my husband. Ordering drinks from the bar was limited due to lack of supplies. Overall, it gave the impression that the hotel was not equipped to accommodate paying guests at the level expected of a three-star establishment. To then be presented with a full breakfast bill, despite the lack of basic provisions and facilities, felt particularly disappointing.. One of the breakfast offerings was a sliced banana which was browning around the edges!! We had genuinely expected more from our stay. I fed-back directly to the hotel however their response was defensive and an apology for our experience was not forthcoming. A shame as it held much promise.

Loved the old building and surrounding remains of a fort. Central location and restaurants just the other side of the walls of the fort. We faced the courtyard and it was very quiet and we enjoyed a drink there in the evening sun. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful. We arrived on bicycles and there was a garage available to store them.

Decor a little faded and had to angle the shower so as not to soak the bathroom. Neither of these factors were a problem for us.

The restaurant wasn’t open for meals, the breakfast was overpriced and disappointing.
