"very enjoyable but room needs fixed"

staff very pleasant, the hotel is built within / based around a very old chateaux and parking outside in a secured area a big plus and some nice restaurents around within walking distance. Automatic bollards on entry are a little unnerving and pre warning of how to enter the car park would be useful but atmosperic places like this are a big bonus compared to the ultra modern holiday stays

could not get the shower to run anything but hot hot hot almost scalding! The sink plug lever broken/ seized so water is very slow to escape the sink and toilet door wouldn't close. Also the bedroom door very difficult to operate and lock.

Website indicated a restaurant but it is permanently closed at the moment. This is misleading as all other restaurants in town are closed too.

Location

The parking wasn’t available due to new rules from the local authorities but the hotel kindly let us park the car in the hotel grounds. The restaurant was unfortunately closed and nothing apart from kebab, pizza or burgers available in the town. And last but not least, local people playing boules which is. It so bad but they were slightly under the influence of alcohol and very noisy until past 11pm when they were sent home by the hotel manager.

"The best of Normandy hospitality in a stunning heritage property!"

We had a wonderful night At Chateau de Bricquebec, after parking in the stunning courtyard, we were blown away by the grand staircase. The rooms were well appointed with modern fittings and the breakfast was delicious. We were treated to a warm welcome in the newly reopened restaurant where the staff made our birthday celebration dinner a night to remember.

Location excellent. Breakfast good with a nice selection on the buffet.

The restaurant wasn't open for dinner. The hotel was less luxurious than I expected.
