Regina Hotel

The location

Room was very hot when I arrived, it was 30 degrees outside & they had the heating on full! Fortunately I was going straight out but room was unbearable.

The location is excellent and staff friendly and helpful

We stayed on bank holiday weekend and the room was absolutely boiling and quite small

there was a helpful member of staff on duty at night, but everything she said was overruled by the day manager, who made Basil F look entirely reasonable.

Staff, which in the main were very rude and off hand even for the most simple request. The room looks like last decorated in the 70's, half the facilities didn't work - made the worst premier inn in the country look like Ritz. This isn't really a hotel as such, it is solely orientated to Coach trips and they have no interest outside of that, in fact other guests are treated as a nuisance.

Breakfast was fine. Bedroom and hotel very clean. Ideal position right on the harbour. Staff good. No parking at hotel but a great one across the road and very reasonable priced

The property is very looking tired, needs refurbishing, its 2026, needs modernisation, wallpaper are tired, furniture are tired and old. Smells damp. Carpets old. Curtain are old and ripped
