Conveniently opposite the station and handy for everywhere. Staff without exception were all welcoming and friendly. Room was comfortable with everything we needed in working order and nicely decorated. Excellent shower. Breakfast was great.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon to a busy pub - England France rugby match was on plus there was a large group of families in so no quiet corner to sit and chill. But it is a pub, so we expected busy and noise, and in our room upstairs it was really quiet. And on Sunday, all was calm.

Location was fantastic. The decor was quirky, unique and beautiful. Room was spacious and comfortable with lots of lovely extras included. Fab bathroom.

Stair carpet up to the bedrooms looked worn/in need of a good clean or replacing.

Centrally located in town, close to train station.

Could still hear the music from the bar late in the evening.

A fantastic place to stay. Gorgeous rooms, lovely food, super staff and the best sheets known to any bed! Plus I would recommend the cherry bakewell cocktail. And perfect if you are going to the theatre.

Great location just in front of the underground station. Very welcoming staff, nice room, very comfortable and clean.

There's no lift

The room was clean and spacious with lots of sockets, tea and coffee provided, lovely towels and a very good breakfast ( at extra cost) you can have free continental breakfast if desired

The stairs to the bedroom there was quite a lot and when you forget something it's a long way back up to the top floor and could be a confusing layout especially if there was a fire
