First thing first, we have booked a room for 4, unfortunately 4th person was given a roll out bed from beneath the other bed, which made uncomfortable for both the guests to sleep and move around for having access to room and toilet. Also mould inside wardrobe and hairs on bread/toast,the lady who was serving us breakfast she had her white hair on our toast.

After registering the complaint about bed and WiFi which was completely not working at hotel, made our night very tuff, that area is remote in mountains and doesn’t have proper signal on phones and what you expect at last to reach hotel and have access to wifi, despite we complained to booking.com they have said them wifi is working normally and doesn’t have any issues.

We received a nice warm welcome. Bar was busy with people and dogs . Early check in was available. Bar food available . Bird song in the morning was beautiful.

Bed was too soft for us, shame 😔 Car park was full but we waited and got a space.

This is a two star hotel and it exceeded expectations for that rating. Fabulous staff, good food (and plenty of it), terrific breakfasts. Bedroom was comfortable and I was lucky to have an outdoor balcony with table and chairs. Very small bathroom but good shower (if cramped!). Incredibly dog friendly place which was such a relief. Wonderful location. I would be very happy to return.

There was really nothing to dislike and especially at this star rating.
