Argyll Hotel

Great price, great location, awesome pub with the best landlord. We sat up drinking with him watching the footy and he is brilliant!! It’s not the ritz but for the price what more can you expect?

The step in the bedroom caught us out at night.

In desperate need of an upgrade and decorating staircases leading to rooms are in a very poor state.

De trappen trappen naar boven en het dicht zijn van het restaurant/pub 's morgens; lastig als je je baggage naar de achterparkeerplaats moet sjouwen.. door een nauwe steeg

The view from room was absolutely stunning and the only reason anyone would stay here.

TV didn’t work, main light in room didn’t work, pillows were very hard, bed was very uncomfortable and wardrobe was filthy (full of broken sweets)

Location. View. Proximity to ferry terminal.

Could be great if small details attended to. Cannot fault staff though to try and sort oot a few issues.

Convenient location

TV was void of cable hook up- no working tv in room Pillow was like a rock Bathroom had black mold all around shower stall and on walls/ceiling near windows Drug paraphernalia was lying on the ground in the walkway through where the parking lot leads you into the hotel reception. The door leading in has no means by which to open it, despite a sign hanging above it stating it’s the way into reception. Overpriced for run-down facilities. Overhead room light had no bulb No dedicated staff member for hotel guests - had to wade through locals at the bar

Location is very central to restaurants. Lovely view from our windows.

Very steep winding stairs, we did not feel safe to take suitcases up. Top of stairs, the door opened straight onto the stairs (going down). Pillows were very hard, I had to use the cushion from the bed. Very small shower but we had experienced that else where on our trip.

Food was very good but this was independent from our booking

2nd floor, tight winding staircase, very difficult for a retired couple with suitcases! Small room. TV didn't work and couldnt be resolved. Heating stopped working. Pillows were almost unusable and had to be replaced. Shower temperature very difficult to control.
