The property was in the process of being sold and stock was being run down, with this situation impacting on staff enthusiasm.

Location was perfect for my trip, lovely little hotel with ample parking. As I spent all the time out in the mountains didn’t have a chance to use the restaurant, but my room was clean and cozy, with a good shower and a good bed. Was pleasantly surprised to find the room cool after a very hot and sunny day, I guess the building doesn’t get too hot easily.

Soundproofing - I could hear a neighbour snoring, not an issue for me as not a light sleeper.

Friendly service good food

Great location and plenty of parking. Easy access. Welcoming and cosy bedroom. Plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. (replenished on request).

Downstairs had a sports bar feel to it with a large screen showing football on our arrival. This felt a little disconnected with the cosy family orientated bedrooms upstairs. There was no breakfast available during our stay, which we did know about, but would have been welcomed.
