We where able to check in early.

Bed where uncomfortable, rooms dated and little smelly.

The room was spacious and accessed by its own staircase. We had a key to the front door enabling access to the property out of hours. Rooms are nicely furnished with real wood furniture and the beds and bedding very comfortable. Being able to open windows fully was great and the bathroom was enormous. The whole place was bright and airy. Staff were helpful but not intrusive. Everyone was very friendly. Location is perfect for visiting local attractions like Harlech Castle and the beach at Barmouth. Free car parking. Check out was at 11am so no rushing.

There is no breakfast available at the location so with a little one in tow we checked out earlier than perhaps we would have otherwise. The towels whilst soft and very clean are a little small. The room stated 'garden view' but the beauty of the garden was impeded a bit by the view over the back of the kitchen too.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Very cosy
