We booked the whole hotel out for a club event recently and it was awesome. The staff were brilliant getting 40 meals out and the chef made a grand job of it. Very friendly relaxed friendly hotel in a stunning location.

The location was good and the setting relaxing

The facilities could do with updating. Bar food only available at limited times.

The staff- so friendly and made you feel important. They couldn't do enough for us. The hotel- rooms large and clean, my view was out towards the river and was amazing Accessibility ♿️ - they looked after mum. Her room was accessible with fantastic bathroom fitting her needs. The food - Evening meals Wow 👌 it was amazing. Worth every penny, and the menu changed every night. It was nice not to have a buffet breakfast, everything was freshly cooked.

Swimming pool area could do with an update

the food was great, I loved my room looking out towards the river with that huge window, big bonus!

The bathroom was incredibly hot from the towel rail which didn't appear to have a dial to manage the temperature, and to my great disappointment I didn't discover the swimming pool until I was checking out, partly lack of observation on my part, but there was nothing about it in the info pack in my room, and I had bought my swimmers because i had been told there was a pool at the hotel.

My room was spacious and had a good view down to the river. It is a short walk along the river into Bellingham. The service and food at breakfast were very good.

Unfortunately the hotel was experiencing a power cut when I arrived but the power was back on when I returned from a meal in Bellingham.
