Uno Hotel Rose and Crown Tonbridge

There was steps going in to hotal Not much bath stuff I asked for xtra coffee and tea bags But only got milk and sugar not suitable for some one that has leg problems breakfast wasn’t that good I Left half of it the toast was hard and the egg had pepper on it

Wonderfully querky rooms, great location

It’s old, dirty, wallpaper peeling, damp, mould in parts, filthy floors, sparse decor. Disgusting. Toilet wouldn’t flush, shower didn’t work. No hand or bath wash. Terrible odour in room. Windows wouldn’t shut and bed was uncomfortable - was like sleeping on concrete with springs poking through.

of course it is a very old building which is nevertheless impressive and intriguing. Hotel bien situé. Staff helpful. Car park handy.

A cracked pane of glass held with sellotape looks rather bad in a hotel. Wallpaper falling away from the wall. Not a lot of choice for breakfast but I didn't request cooked breakfast.

Staff were super friendly 😊

Rooms were without towels, sewing needles on the room carpet floor, breakfast was forgettable and overall a lot of money for a very sub standard room in a very beautiful old building. Think Fawlty Towers and you're in the ball park!
