Southend Central Hotel - Close to Beach, City Centre, Train Station & Southend Airport

Easy to reach and free parking

Quite a small room, unable to regulate the heating, walls were paper thin, and there was loud banging from the room above

The property is 10 minutes from Southend high street. There is a small convenience store nearby for any basic needs. The room was fine with en-suite bathroom, a small closet and a desk with coffee and tea making facilities.

There was not shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom but having read previous reviews I was prepared and had my own. The main issue I faced was the very loud noise from upstairs until almost 10:30pm which meant that I could not get an early night's sleep.

Location good. Nothing flashy, but did what was promised and was reasonable value for money.

Walls a little thin. Room next to reception so a little noisy at times.
