Southend Central Hotel - Close to Beach, City Centre, Train Station & Southend Airport

Yeah it’s not a hotel per se, no food and drink served. Enough for a few cups of tea in my room. Room 1 I was in. Shower fantastic, lovely - just like the welcome. All I needed for a nights stay.

Window looks like it could do with updating, bit rickety. More soundproofing, although I slept solidly until my alarm so can’t complain!

Clean ensuite room,parking and a pretty house and street

I have no dislikes.

Everything you needed was there. They couldn't do enough for you. Great place

Getting sunburnt

The host, Asif, was most helpful and the room, quiet, nicely decorated, clean with an excellent en-suite.

Price, quite location and free parking.

Cooler box didn't cool, Kettle didn't boil, bedside light wasn't a bedside light as the lead was not long enough and Pillows appear to be as thick as the filling in the quilt.

The room was located on the ground floor. I always sleep with an open window. It would be good to install a grill on the window, or it should be possible to open only one upper window. Thank you.

In the hotel the night time very loud

They had no heating on all night and I was freezing plus the bed and pillow was very uncomfortable. Very thin wall where you can hear next door and upstairs at the same time

Everything was a mess very small room. Smaller than a prison cell. No joke
