Park Hotel

Brilliant breakfast. Close to town.

Tv remote was a bit hit and miss.

The room was a good size. The location of the hotel suited us for visiting friends. The breakfast was good but could do with some continental options. The bedroom area of the room was clean and warm.

The water in the shower was never very warm and certainly would not have a bath. There were no fresh toiletries in the bathroom and the empty old ones were lying when we arrived. There was no spare toilet roll and no full one when we arrived. The shelf above sink was loose and was unsafe to put anything breakable on. The holder for tumbler was loose. There were two thin plastic tumblers there, very poor and for the cost of room not acceptable. The bathroom walls were in need of a clean as there was a whitish film on some areas and also the shiny surface was broken off completely. The bath panel had came away from the seal and there was a gap which looked bad. The bathroom was badly in need of some repairs. The pillows were very thin and not at all comfortable and there were no spare ones in the room.

The staff are full time hospitality. A nice cosy and warm hotel.

The hotel needs some small attention to details like frayed carpets on stairs and wallpaper needs re-glueing.

Worse Christmas meal I've ever had, mushy veg, dry turkey and bisto gravy, shocking. I only gave it 3 stars because the sorbet was good and the staff were lovely.

Whats not to like,it was perfect,it was certainly value for money.

Absolutely nothing not to like.

Lovely clean room with coffee and tea supplied. Good service.

Only my preferences and not a dislike. I like a flat pillow and a larger more powerful shower

My bathroom didn’t even have a bar of soap Couldn’t figure out how to use my bedside lamp. Whole hotel is tired and in need of decoration and upgrade, prices are too high for what’s on offer Food was poor with a limited menu. Bar had a poor choice of beers.
