Location was good Breakfast was good and plenty and hot,room was clean, bed comfortable

The decor was dated, smelt of damp, plaster peeling off the walls in corridor, due to a leak?

Location was perfect food was delicious

Just the hotel was a little tired in some public areas and the bathrooms need updating

Bathroom was very tired and needs updating. Lots of noise in night from passing people.

Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money and location good for town centre.

Bar should stay open later for hotel guests. Food fairly average. Hotel decor a bit tired.

Very central location close to shops and bus terminal (where you get the shuttle bus to the Forest Live gigs)

Rooms are really tired (but clean) queen size beds not king. Pillows hard. Couldn’t get a constant temp in shower. Either scalding hot or ice cold. No in between, no matter how much we played with and adjusted the flows! Full English was not good. Staff slow and very uninterested, no customer service. Yes under staffed but borderline rude.

The bath had seen better days as the enamel white coating was pealing off

In a great central location, rooms are basic but comfortable, breakfast was lovely.

Can't fault it.

The location and parking

Sadly, it’s showing its age in the room which also smelt damp, however, the beds were comfortable and clean. No sockets by the beds and not all of them worked. Breakfast okay, but not very good at replenishing empty jugs of juice or continental platters. It was okay for a nights stay, but wouldn’t return.
