Comfortable bed Room view over the river The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly

The Hotel is a beautiful building in desperate need of a freshen up the bedrooms and passage ways are rather dull and uninviting The gardens could be wonderful it all just seemed rather shabby and unloved. Breakfast was a little disappointing we waited for a long time for it to arrive it wasn't presented as freshly cooked unfortunately.

The room was huge and we had a balcony which was a real treat, the bed was also massive and very comfy. The room was serviced every day and the hotel was clean

My only criticism was the quantity of WiFi. There were boosters throughout the whole hotel but for some reason, in our room, it just kept failing.

It was clean, but in need of repairs.

Wasn’t there long, room and bathroom was outdated and a bit scruffy

Ideal central location

Lovely old bar

Good breakfast in pleasant room, with nice staff

Everything was a little "tired", and a redecorate would turn a good hotel into a very good one.
