Location, car park, comfortable bed.

Toilet did not flush properly. Food was average. Breakfast was poor - coffee was cold, scrambled eggs were dry and overcooked. Staff, apart from receptionist who checked me in, were not particularly friendly.

It had a great history, the hotel was quiet meals were brilliant

We did not like the very low ceilings in the hallway — my husband hit and injured his head because of this.

The staff were lovely, very friendly and professional. The assistant manager was brilliant and very helpful. The public areas in this hotel are lovely.

The room was awful and the bathroom was extremely bad. There was what looked like blood on the wall tiles above the toilet. The bath was covered in stains which were ingrained into it! The bath taps were loose. The sink taps were rusty and dirty. The shower rail was rusty. The toilet wouldn't flush properly. The quilt was covered in stains which I only discovered wheb i stripped the bed prior to checking out!
