Royal Oak Hotel

Great location for the gig, very clean room and shower.. Can't fault that or the gentleman that showed us to our room..

My only gripe, was quite cold in the night.. Don't think our radiator came on at all.. Other than that it was a great stay...

Pretty basic but comfortable. The pub is nice with a few locals, the room was clean and the bed really comfy. Good value for money and a great location for the nearby arena and the darts. No issues with noise aside from some morning traffic.

Location

The windows had mould. There was a fridge in the hallway.

The staff went the extra mile to help. The bed was pretty good compared to some. We were left to our own devices with good internet.

Parking was not clear and upset neighbours. The stairs were steep. The pub was very noisy.

The noise. Noisy bar downstairs which had to go in to get key and also noise carried up to the bedroom. So impossible to get to sleep til it closed. I didn't factor in when I booked it was a Saturday night in town centre
