San Jose de Puembo Quito Airport, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The pool with the roof was very nice, and the garden with the animals was also fun to walk through

The rest of the property looked a bit “neglected” cause there were a lot of branches and stuff all over. Off course with all the trees and winds it is probably not easy to keep maintained. But if you would try to use facilities like the tennis court that would be impossible. The planes fly directly over the property, you can see them very close when you lay by the pool. That makes a lot of noice during the day. But have to honest I did not hear anything during the night (I sleep with ear plugs) In the restaurant they had to check if what I ordered (from the menu) was available in the kitchen, and had to ask for the fresh salad although in the menu it stated that it was concluded. They promote their pizza during non dinner times (in the room is a pamflet) but when I called the had to check again if there was pizza available. Only one kind. It was a tiny pizza , not worth the prize at all.

We stayed only one night but had a lovely time. 1. We adored the llamas and alpacas (there was a 6-day old baby llama during our stay). 2. The gym is nicely equipped. 3. Breakfast buffet has been so far the best here in Ecuador. 4. Free airport transfer is a gem. 5. We were traveling to the Galapagos for 2 weeks so we stored all our warm-weather hiking clothes at the hotel where we are staying again before our flight home. This really saved us a lot of luggage space and weight for the more restrictive Galapagos flights.

Los servicios del restaurant principal siempre de altísima altura en atención y calidad del menú.

Humo de noche en las habitaciones que viene del area de restaurante. Zonas húmedas especialmente la piscina la encontramos muy sucias 3:00 pm. La actitud de la gente de front desk puede mejorar muchísimo se siente que te estuvieran haciendo un favor para todo.

O hotel é muito bom.

Não achei tão próximo do aeroporto. Mas fornecem translado gratuito para aeroporto.

Great breakfast ! Lamas on the propery Garden is super cool to just chill

We booked a room here to get some rest during a 10-hour layover in Quito. We arrived around 1530 and left for the airport again at 2200. When the staff realized we had a short time to rest, they whisked us to our room in a cart. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. We used the hotel's hot tub and had a lovely dinner. We walked around the gardens and visited the alpacas. This is a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens in a park-like, peaceful setting. I would gladly stay here again and hopefully have more time to actually sleep.

We weren't at the hotel long enough to find anything we didn't like. Everything was lovely.
