San Jose de Puembo Quito Airport, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Everything - size of the room, facilities, staff, the wonderful park land around, wellness and spa center, the restaurant, airport transfer, and the privilege of having humming birds behind your hotel room. Incredible. Fantastic place to base yourself to explore Quito and stay near the airport without being at the airport. Best choice by far.

One thing only - the morning coffee. I am not the first to mention it but in a hotel of this calibre and in a country of Ecuador, the morning coffee was abysmal. It was in shocking contrast to everything else that was really great.

Architettura coloniale, grande parco con alpaca e pavoni. Ottima colazione (disponibile anche alle 4), camere pulitissime. All’interno dell’albergo é presente un ristorante. Il transfer da e per l’aeroporto é incluso.

Great location, super accommodation & lovely gardens

Lady waiting for us at airport and put us in a complementary taxi. We booked the minibus back to the airport with no problem. The staff were friendly and the grounds around the hotel extensive and well maintained. The Llamas wandering the grounds was a nice touch.

Our room in the colonial building was a bit musty and the bed uncomfortable. We were offered a room in one of the other buildings and if we staying longer we would have taken it. Also no milk for the coffee

Beautiful property. Staff was great. We were there for less than 12 hours, just passing through on our way to Galapagos, but would return if we had the chance.
