Overall, the property was very good

No fridge in the rooms would’ve been nice just to keep a drink cold and would’ve been nice to have a seating area just outside the living quarters

The room was everything that we expected. The bar had plenty of stock and the outside area had plenty of tables and chairs and right at the canal side. Beautiful setting.

It was a really hot, beautiful day. We felt for the staff working in that heat but as this was forecast, preparations were not made for customers getting hot, wanting to cool the.selves with a much needed deserts. It sounds a little petty but 7 out of the 9 deserts contained chantilly cream but they ran out of this cream. After walking back from Lincoln we were wanting a nice cold sundae.

Location was fab, around 30 min walk along the canal into Lincoln which was lovely. Ended up having a water taxi from right outside to get into the city, very friendly guy. Just perfect, comfortable, fab food, friendly staff nothing to fault, would definitely stay again.

Room was hot, but heat is exceptional and the fan was greatly appreciated.

Location. A fantastic 30 minute walk along the canal from the centre. Bar & meals on the premises.
