Location, next to a river, room, in the lodge (seperate from the hotel), friendliness of staff, especially dining staff.

Bed was a large, could have been a king size, breakfast was not a buffet, you had a choice of hot or cold and needed to pay extra if you wanted both.

Liked the area, like the room, staff was friendly

This was such a cool little play i didn’t even realise it was a wedding Venue as well. Staff were lovely and breakfast was great.

The only thing was the music going on til midnight from the wedding but it wasn’t too bad I still fell asleep

Food and drink where lovely location was amazing

We payed £120 for the upgraded room and was no different to the £99 rooms our friends stayed in, was that clean

A bit out of the way but nice quiet location

We stayed here for 2 nights for a family gathering. Quiet waterside location with a lovely walk along the canal into the city takes around 25 mins. The room was very comfortable exceptionally clean with an amazing shower. We ate in the restaurant for 2 nights where we found the food to be fresh and very tasty as was the breakfast. The menu was also varied with specials each night . Staff were friendly and welcoming which all in all added up to a wonderful stay. Would definitely return if in the area
