"I really enjoyed staying there and you need to be relatively fit to walk into town owing to the stee"

9.0

The breakfast was very good. Staff very polite and friendly.

The back of the hotel and balcony needs some TLC

Breakfast was very good.

Although room 16 was large and comfortable bed, it was very cold, radiator appeared not to be working & there were no instructions provided. We found a plug in heater in the wardrobe which did help to warm the room. Also the bedroom door to the street had clear window panes which had no blind or curtain so not dark enough at night.

"Nice little hotel."

Good food, friendly staff. Park near. Great views from dining room.

Showers in room 8 not great. Mattress had seen better days. Bathroom needs shelving of sorts.

"A very enjoyable stay in a friendly, traditional hotel"

9.0

Excellent location on the way down into the town with its own car park. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The property is showing it’s age a bit and needs a bit of a face lift.

"We only stayed 1 night. The hotel location was too hilly which I feel should have been said."

Welcoming

The hotel needed a good lick of paint. And smartening up. It was dated and showed it in so many ways.
