Taverna Akrogiali

The most wonderful spot with the most charming host Pavlos. Simple rooms with a sound of the sea and a great taverna attached. Came for one night and stayed many more,

Great location to explore nearby gorges and beaches near Loutro. Pavlos was a very friendly helpful and attentive host, and even helped us with a flat tire. The food in taverna was good.

Just a note and not a negative. The road down to the property might not be for everyone as it is a narrow, steep and bendy mountainous road without edge protection, markings or lights. Taking it up was much easier though, and the quality of the road is pretty good. Food in local tavernas was limited due to the time of the year but the food was very good.

L'emplacement idyllique, le calme du lieu, la gentillesse de Pablo et ses bons conseils, la nourriture avec des produits maison, les chèvres voisines, la route splendide pour y arriver ! Et aussi la proximité de Loutro où on peut s'y rendre par une très belle balade par le littoral. Et la baignade!

This place was absolutely adorable 😍 in the middle of nowhere where you can enjoy relax in the nature, Pavlo can give you his heart ❤️ and will help with everything.His mum cooks super delicious food.Room was perfect for our needs . Highly recommend this place! Goats are everywhere and that is awesome!

Great location, very kind and helpful host. The food was delicious. The place is really enchanting.

The choice of vegetarian dishes was rather limited, most likely due to the remote location and possible early season.

Emplacement merveilleux pour cette taverne familiale. un véritable paradis sur terre ! La terrasse ombragée en bord de mer est magnifique. les repas sont excellents et les hôtes très souriants et à l'écoute. On peut y accéder en voiture jusqu'à un petit parking situé à 5 minutes à pieds. je recommande vivement cet endroit pour toute personne qui aime le calme, la contemplation. Nous nous sommes rendus à Loutro, à pieds depuis la taverne, il faut compter environ 45 minutes.

Extrem gute Lage am E4 auf Kreta. Wunderschön gelegenes und familiär geführtes Hotel, bestes Essen im Garten und direkt am Meer. Das Zimmer war renoviert und modern ausgestattet.

Nice remote location . Mama’s always cook best! Owner’s are very friendly.

Un pequeño paraíso, la verdad es que la mejor localización de Creta. Nos sentimos unos privilegiados. El dueño muy atento y amable. Merce la pena desconectar en este lugar y que te cocinen todo el día. Nos encantaría repetir.

No es una pega en sí porque está bien que el acceso no sea fácil. Pero no es la mejor carretera y el taxi boat es caro.
