Noisy rooms. Especially Saturday evening/Sunday morning. Setting up breakfast should not wake up guests.

What a location! You can’t get better than this in Udaipur from a views perspective. Lovely Haveli right on the lake with a gorgeous garden and pool and fantastic restaurant looking over the lake. Go to the rooftop bar for a sundowner drink - you won’t regret it. Our room had stunning views over the old town and lake and was incredibly spacious. Staff were super helpful and responsive

Bathroom is old and could do with an update, but it was fine and functional

One of the best view hotels. This was a recommendation from a very good friend and this did not disappoint us at all. The room was simple but very accommodating. We were right next to the water and it seemed like we were in a house boat. The breakfast and the service was exceptional. There are so many rooftop restaurants with amazing view and great authentic Indian food. Thank you for a great experience. Will recommend this heritage hotel anytime. ❤️🙏

We absolutely loved the location which is right on the lake. It was pretty special having breakfast and dinner on the lake overlooking the lake palace hotel. The hotel is really unique and feels like staying in a rich Havelli - which was the experience we wanted. It feels more cultural than staying in a big chain hotel.

The room itself, while really big and full of character was a little bit old. The power points and light switches felt a bit unsafe. The toilet paper was not great quality and the bed was a bit soft.

The vintage feel

The service was extremely poor, and the staff were absolutely uncooperative. Basic requests; such as paid room service,required repeated follow-ups and, at times, insistence. This was particularly disappointing given that the staff were aware I was staying with a senior citizen. Such conduct reflects a lack of empathy and service orientation, and it significantly impacted our overall experience.

Wow! What a fabulous hotel. The location is perfect with views over to the city and the Lake Palace and restaurants on 2 levels to make the best of them. Great food and drink options amd beautiful views from the room. Lovely staff too who went out of their way to help. We spent 3 nights here in December. I had picked up an injury affecting my mobility and the staff provided a wheelchair for me and helped maneuvering it. For anyone with mobility issues there are a couple of steps that can't be avoided and the wheelchair can't manage but otherwise the wheelchair was ok. We were assigned a ground floor room closest to the restaurant and there is a lift to the upstairs restaurant.

If mobility is a challenge it can be a bit tricky but otherwise none.
