Hotel Chalet

The proximity of the hotel to the market was excellent - a five minute walk. I also appreciated the hallway water-purification system (clay pot inside a large plastic container) on the top floor. I would certainly stay there again.

There was nothing not to like, but the property was a bit tired.

Manuel the owner is a very kind person. It’s in a quiet location and good if you’re visiting the market the next day.

More like an AirBnB than a hotel but the owner is friendly and helpful. The WiFi worked well and the room was clean and comfortable. Free filtered was available to refill a water bottle.

I couldn't get the hot water to work in the shower.

Nice room and Manuel was very helpful providing info for my next destination. Very chill spot away from the market but still an easy walk.

The bathrooms in each of the rooms have an open window at the top (no one can see in) which means it’s easy to hear others use their own bathroom. Not a huge issue for me, but could be for people looking for total privacy.
