Kithal Ella Station Resort

Very clean. Very nice and helpful staff!

Host was so lovely and accommodating, organising a packed breakfast when we had an early check out, and even organised a tuk tuk into town. Great location next to the train station and close proximity to start of the Ella Rock trail. The pancakes for breakfast were great too!

We felt that hand towels and bath mats should be a given in the rooms, as should be working power plugs.

Staff is nice. Delicious breakfast and dinner. You hop off the train and the villa is right in front of you so you don’t have to be worried about any transportation. They can arrange you a tuk tuk ride to the 9 Arch back/forth for a reasonable price. We had great time, totally worth the money and I recommend the place.

+ Building is cool, big and clean rooms + good location for ellas rock hike and trainstation kithalella + view from room: train, djungle, fields

- towels we little big dirty (brown spots, replaced it quick on demand) - location is quite far from Ella City (15-20‘ tuktuk drive, especially by night/rain not too enjoyable) - the 2 guys there were super friendly and lovely but communication in english was rather hard and they were not too helpful after all reg - reception is closed in the late evening when coming back from ella (but you can probably arrange it otherwise) - cook was on holiday so there was no restaurant open (besides breakfast) - wifi was not working properly

Be careful in booking this location is way out of town .there are much better options in town would not tay again

Location .and poorly run

I only liked the food.We had a good breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The rooms were terrible no A/C the fans were far far away from the bed the first room they gave the TV didn't work.Bed linen was dirty.They gave us another room which was better.The road coming up to the hotel was terrible 😔 all winding roads.Also there were boards everywhere saying CASH ONLY.It never mentioned this on the website.

room size, tuk-tuk service, close to train station

Very bad sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Strong chemical smell upon arrival, it was hard to breathe. Room was not clean, mosquito net had large dark stains, same on the walls. They only accept cash (not noted in booking).
