Kithal Ella Station Resort

We loved the location, outside of the busy Ella area, but still walking distance (30 minutes on the railway track). Very close to Ella Rock. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Dilshan for making us breakfast to go and helping us out with our TukTuk. I would definitely recommend.

Electricity went, WiFi hit and miss . They ONLY accept cash !

Beautiful property and setting

It’s quite far out of Ella but the staff are really helpful and can arrange transport for you no problem

Amazing location, so beautiful and quiet- we loved being outside of Ella, the kids loved watching the trains come by (warning the whole building shakes, it's right on the line!) but we loved that. Great room with a run attic for the kids to stay in, though very steep steps so not suitable for small children. Spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast. Great value.

We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, we were told it would be about an hour, we were the ONLY people there but watched as the staff did other things and didn't even start preparing it until an hour had passed (they were doing things like polishing cutlery, it was just weird). 90 mins later our meals arrived one by one, we had only ordered some noodles and a chicken wrap, could have literally gone to a shop and bought the food and cooked it myself in that time. The whole time we were the only people there. A shame as otherwise it was a really great spot, but it is quite isolated so you don't have many options for food, do think they need to sort this out!

Clean rooms, excellent service by staff

Very narrow approach, difficult to reach by bigger car.

The rooms are super comfortable and clean. Recommend to have dinner at the location which is very good !

I loved the place

The staff was really nice and was taking good care of us. He recommended us some locations, which are worth to visit he also organized us a driver for whole day for reasonable price. breakfast was very rich & delicious. :) And we had really nice view to the jungle.

Railway station Is really close, so for someone it could be disturbing. But we had no problem with that :)
