For a overnight stay the room was comfortable clean and the shower was excellent. And all the staff in the adjoining Toby carvery were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great 👍

Location, breakfast was OK, staff pleasant.

The room was dark and window looking out on to fence with fans from the kitchen behind it. The bathroom had a lot of hairs 🤮 The initial corridor smelt clean however going through to the second set of doors there was a very stale smell. The carvery was not the best with dry peas and carrots which had obviously been out for a good while. I was told the beef was "fatty", it was mainly fat. The exterior of the pub looked really tatty with rotting windows, flaking paint and weeds all over.

Bathroom sink was too small impossible to wash your face in it or clean your teeth the tap took up all the room. Couldn't fill the kettle from it I had to use a glass to fill the kettle. Ridiculous in such a decent sized room there was no excuse.

Carvery - tasteless beef having a weird texture and dried up veg mostly cold and cold congealed gravy. Standard plate £15.99 not good value at all. We did not risk trying the breakfast here.
