My two night stay at The Crown was very good, located at the top of the High Street meaning all the shops, restaurants, cafes were not minutes away. Alton has a good variety of local and national brands shops etc. The Crown is very welcoming, lovely staff and locals, there's a few TVs with Sky Sports on. There was no food available during my stay but there's loads of options minutes walk away.

"Nice clean bedding and a comfortable bed , I was a solo travellerbut had a double bed which was fab"

No food provided as kitchen not open , however could take own food in , and ask for crockery and cutlery if needed.

Only had takeaway cups to go with the yea or coffee provided for some reason🤷‍♀️
