The Crown Hotel

Room was clean and bed comfortable

Couldn’t have a meal there. No dinner or breakfast

Location for accessibility and parking was easy. It’s on the high st which made it close to the towns eateries.

This is where expectations on price meet limitations. It’s an honest hard working pub on the high street. If you stay here on a weekend then expect disturbance. Mine was till around 3am from drunk locals at the back of the hotel. The green emergency light above the toilet door was annoying as it was both on and indicating a route that was blocked in an emergency. The bed springs are awful.

The Crown’s location was perfect - central but with good car parking.

I loved the service and friendliness of the staff. The location was super central to all that I needed as well as the train station!

I was shocked to see the room size, as it was smaller than I expected, however, it was still extremely comfortable and provided enough and more space for everything I had with me.
