Quite frankly, everything we saw and touched was amazingly crafted and designed. Biggest highlight of the property the sitting areas by the Nile at night with light music and calming sounds of the Nile at night and the birds in the morning away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city style. Being on an island gave the property a unique advantage over other hotels in the area.

The property was so beautiful and very clean. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The manager Christine was excellent. She was willing to help us with all our requests. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone’s stay.

I loved everything about the hotel. I with I had more time to explore it.

Lovely one-night stay at Pyramisa Island Hotel. Comfortable bed and friendly staff — everything you need for a smooth stopover. The island setting is unique and peaceful. One thing to be aware of: the hotel is accessible by ferry, and the tipping starts from the moment you arrive — boat staff, then someone to escort you from the boat to reception, then from reception to your room. It adds up quickly so come prepared with small EGP notes! Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing in advance.

Overall a great hotel that lies on an island. Boat transfer every 30 minutes (takes about 10 minutes and its free). The guest relationship manager made constantly sure that I am happy. The location is outstanding beautiful (see attached pictures). The room was perfectly placed and like brand new. I had a small issue and it was immediately fixed including an apology fruit basked, so perfect response. Very silent and perfect to „get down“ after a kind of exhausting trip that I did the previous days. Service is great. Parking is free at the boat dock.

The food was okay, but the choice was kind of low. Some fresh fish, maybe some chicken, would add a bit more variety easily. Service in the a la cart restaurant was outstanding though and prices are alright. Just because it is kind of isolated on an island, food options should be a bit more wider. Checkout was surprisingly cold, but the boat crew made up for that minutes later.

Beautiful Nile island location and gardens. Food was adequate. Christine in guest relations tried her best to address our concerns throughout the stay.

Where to begin. Rooms were misrepresented on arrival — sold as an upgrade when they were simply the rooms we had booked. Bed configuration request ignored, then offered as an upgrade. Air conditioning loud and ineffective in 40°C heat — told it was fixed, it wasn’t, leaving a large hole in the ceiling. Hot water only at times, no cold. Broken shelving. WiFi limited to one code per device and barely functional. Room did not match photos advertised - much more dated and run down. Hair found in bed and stains on sheets on arrival — staff largely indifferent before eventually replacing sheets that smelt musty. A fruit platter sent as an apology arrived mouldy. Staff were generally blunt and unfriendly throughout the stay, with the exception of Christine in guest relations who genuinely tried her best. A new room was offered on our last night — but you can put lipstick on a pig and it’s still a pig. A loud argument between staff broke out in the lobby in front of guests. The property is clearly starved of investment and it shows everywhere you look. Most staff unfriendly and clearly don’t enjoy working there. Most concerning — the hotel approached us directly about our review in what felt like an attempt to influence what we submitted. Do not trust the review scores on this property. 2/10 only due to the location.
