The staff and overall level of service from everyone we encountered at Pyramisa Isis Island was exceptional, very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Ms Christeen, the guest relations manager went over and above to check in with us and ensure we had everything we needed. The value for money at this property, when also considering the lack of 5 star hotels in Aswan (Old Cataract is the only true 5 star and it is very overpriced for what it is), it is a decent stay. The views of the Nile and gardens on the island are very picturesque, and unlike anything else in Aswan.

The hotel is very tired, and currently is undergoing some renovations. We encountered construction noise each day at the property, but it wasn’t getting in the way of our stay. The cleanliness of the property is also lacking, which is shown in many of the recent reviews. Housekeeping staff changed the sheets, but it was clear very little else was done. The restaurants are all very similar to one another in what food they offer, but are reasonably priced. The common facilities are outdated and in some places, in urgent need of repairs. You need to catch a small ferry to get to the island, which runs every 30 mins, and takes 10 minutes to cross, so ensure you factor in this when arranging tours or flights.

Very good hotel, perfect service, and very attentive staff

Die Lage, das gepflegte Parkgelände und die Sauberkeit in und rund um das Hotel einschließlich im Pool Bereich. Die Hygiene im Restaurant beim Frückstück. Die Zimmer hatten Alles was man braucht und es hat auch Alles funktioniert. Das Interieur ist nicht mehr ganz neu. Das Personal ist größtenteils freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mona vom Zimmerreinigungstrupp hat mich beinah mütterlich mit Allem Nötigen versorgt während ich einen Tag im Bett verbringen musste wegen einer Magen-Darm-Verstimmung.

Ich habe mich insgesamt da wohl gefühlt, würde wegen der hohen Temperaturen nicht mehr im Mai da sein wollen. Temperaturen 40+ erlauben es kaum sich außerhalb des klimatisierten Gebäudekomplexes aufzuhalten.
