Staff should explain the dinner and Bc procedure rather than just times! I had to ask what we did for dinner and breakfast.

Lovely location, secure and well maintained.

Staff could have done with some coaching specifically in breakfast area. Very polite and courteous but seemed overwhelmed when busy.

Booking room with two double beds as sofa beds not really comfy

Food not that great

I thought that the grounds were very pleasant on arrival Clean and lovely kept gardens with flower pots leading up the steps to main entrance ..,I always appreciate seeing flowers and cut lawns giving this 4 star hotel a 5 star feel with an unexpected large swimming pool which was a real bonus to use .

I think the front area of reception would really benefit from a water feature on the front lawn or a fountain water display which would really compliment the reception main entrance area.

The bedroom I selected had a sofa bed included and this was brilliant as we needed the two bed 'option'. The sofa bed was so comfortable!! Brilliant! They provided us with a large stand alone fan which was great in the heat this weekend. The selection of breakfast options was great and there was an easy route around the different selections so that there was no 'bottle necks' or queues for any of the items. Lots of dietary options were given too. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly.

There was no shampoo in one of the containers in the shower. Wasn't a problem for us but could have been an issue for someone else who hadn't come prepared. Although the sofa bed hadn't been made up when we arrived (although the room was requested with a sofa bed} the reception staff were very quick to sort this out for us. I had to remove the shower plug to help the lather go down - our water at home is hard so I had overused my shampoo - the underside of the shower plug was extrememly black and slimy. Not something I look at but I couldn't help this.

Pet friendly, very good staff nothing too much trouble,great location.

Most of the staff were so helpful and went above and beyond. The convenience of being just over a mile away from Crick marina. The shower was good and the air con worked well. We also liked our room at the back of the hotel as we could hear birds and see bunnies running around. Breakfast was good.

Some of the hotel was a little tired. The wardrobe was ridiculous with the rail coming out from the middle with about 5 hangers, such a waste of space. Not all the choice on drinks, could have had a wider range. Was looking forward to a swim when we got back to the hotel after a very hot day on the bank holiday Sunday to find the pool was shut early.
