INThe common spaces were well maintained, and there was a nice common sitting room outside our room. Staff were very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was served in-room, with just a couple of options. Quality was OK, only instant coffee; espresso is a paid extra! The hotel is in a secluded street, so it is a very peaceful and pleasant place.
The room was a bit cramped and the furniture and fittings were antique, but not in a good way. We were put in a room behind the restaurant, and this was basically the back side of the hotel, with no way to get fresh air or a good view. Rooms on the other side opposite the swimming pool seem to be much better placed and would be great value.
