Breakfast was just OK with not much choice. Could not provide Coffee with BF.

Room Nos 105,106 & 107 are better where I stayed earlier but these are not offered on booking.com. Most hotels provide poor rooms / cheaper rooms with less facilities on booking.com.

Location, Room size and food

AC was not working. Even after complaining about it, it was not resolved. In the ice cube we got incests. It was reported but not given any explanation. Reception staff worthless. TV was not functioning. At last when we were checking out despite the request no staff came to help us in lifting the luggage.

The property has a rich history, they buildings incorporate the age old architecture with modern facilities, preserving the unique look of a tea garden bungalow. There is lot of greenery, a well maintained lawn and potted plants, there are numerous facilities like a gym and swimming pool, outdoor sitting areas etc. The rooms have a cozy vibe, tall ceiling with good amount of lighting and a well designed washroom. You are getting facilities akin to a major hotel/resort chain at a quarter of the price! The food is good and appropriately priced, predominantly North Indian dishes with few local delicacies

Some of the points I'll list really tested my patience and composure as the horror began right at the arrival. There was an issue with their offline and online bookings and they were overbooked! One of my booked rooms was already occupied, however instead of calmly talking and resolving my case, the manager started yelling! I was startled, I hadn't raised my voice or accused them of anything to that point and being yelled at being a customer wasn't nice. They created the issue by not being on top of their bookings, but I was being accused as if I was the one at fault. I was being pestered with "we don't have rooms at this rate! where the hell did you book this from" and the manager kept escalating, I calmly listened and just called the customer support. I realized the one handling online bookings lives off-site and the manager has no access or idea about booking. com. He kept on dividing the total price by two and ranting the same line- until I showed him the proper price breakdown, when he was willing to at least give me one of the available rooms. But the way he kept escalating, despite overbooking the rooms, it distressed me mentally, I didn't raise my voice a bit through this episode! The next thing I know once I checked in, I was constantly pressurized to cancel the second room on my end so they don't lose their commission. Apart from the management, there wasn't any thing to nitpick apart from the bathroom water, it needs a filtration system as it is filled with iron and smells like rust.

I enjoyed the location; the ambiance was pleasant. The tea was fantastic. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the green area, and it was a relaxing stay.

The room's infrastructure could benefit from an update; for example, the washroom exhausts were old and malfunctioning, and the air conditioning unit was not in optimal condition. The breakfast options for vegetarians were somewhat limited.
