Kilimanjaro Scenic Homestay

Gabriel and the team are very were clean and we even got a chance to leave our bags at the lodge while we hiked Kilimanjaro.

No rooms were available for four people at the time but renovations are still in work to accommodate larger rooms

Great views and location. The staff were incredible and the facilities were the best I have seen in Moshi having stayed in two other places. Peaceful and not too many rooms available so it didn't feel overwhelmingly touristy unlike other places too.

The wifi wasn't very dependable, and would often drop out in my room.

Very cute and cozy lodge, family-owned. Gabriel, the owner, is incredibly helpful if you need any assistance around town. The lodge is very clean and well-decorated. Feels like home

Exceptionally warm reception,very clean private room with a stunning view of Kilimanjaro, not forgetting the interior beauty and east African feel of the room and restaurant.delightful taste of local food especially the chicken soup with chapati...The well planned day and evening tours organized for your comfort and enjoyment.. was so much fun.My expectations were highly exceeded and i would definately go back for the incredible experience!

The hospitality of Gabriel was remarkable. We were looked after from arrival to departure. Although we had no plan in Moshi he tailored a 4 hours trip for us through his contact, just enough time before our Safari trip. Thank you !

My stay at Kilimanjaro Scenic Lodge was nothing short of amazing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all my needs were met and going the extra mile to ensure my comfort. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, especially the fresh seafood. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tanzania. I'll definitely be back!

The property was clean and well decorated

PLEASE DON’T BOOK this on Booking.com. I arrived and ask for a rate and the rate on Booking was lower, so asked receptionist if I could book it on Booking.com and she said I could and even chose the room type. However, on check out I dealt with a very aggressive, angry man who I think was manager/owner who showed no respect to me and started shouting at me telling me I needed to pay the hotel direct and that Booking.com didn’t count, a complete con-artist and liar. If you’re wise you’ll avoid this hotel.

The lodge manager is a real thief I booked to come back on 29th July but on 28th he said that I'll pay an other full night that for him he was expecting me on 28th and he couldn't compromise What a shame he took all the money and he chased me from the lodge on 29th After asking around they have told me that this is like the 4th time he is doing this to clients He is a real scammer
