Kilimanjaro Scenic Homestay

The staff was great, as was the food. The rooms were also very clean.

The hosts/the staff are all so friendly, the food is deliciously homemade and wait until you see the breakfast, the lovely designed garden and dining area, and of course the beautiful view of Kilimanjaro......

Very friendly staff!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Facilities were comfortable rooms and bed, nicely decorated.

The pillow case did have some makeup stains when we arrived. Internet was not available in all areas.

One of the best stays we had in Tanzania: - absolutely delicious food - very friendly and helpful staff - very friendly and nice owner - clean and cozy room with view to Mount Kilimanjaro Wish our schedule wasn't so tight, we gladly would have stayed for longer.

Lovely set up but the beds were extremely uncomfortable with no aircon.

It took over an hour for our food to arrive. Everything was extremely slow. An hour after ordering dinner, they told us that they didn’t have the right food. We asked for a taxi and were told to wait 5 minutes and it ended up being an hour. This was the overall theme of our stay. WiFi was bad which I guess is expected. Just really poor customer service - not sure how this has such a high rating.

I loved the room. I was able to see Kilimanjaro from my bedroom window. Beautiful. The garden was beautiful. The restaurant was very convenient, right on the property. The property was also gated. I felt very safe.

The manager, Gabriel, & his staff were friendly & very helpful. Gabriel arranged for me to join another party on a great day trip & also organised a taxi for me when pre-arranged pick up didn't show up. The lodge looks amazing & there is also a very spacious dining area & bar. My room was very clean & comfortable.

The electric sockets were in a slightly awkward position above the bed headboard. There were a few power outages & losses of the internet.
