Kilimanjaro Scenic Homestay

Beautiful garden and room with amazing view of Kilimanjaro. Great food by Lucy and Gabriel was a fantastic host picking us up from the airport, organising a great day trip to the waterfall, coffee experience and hot springs! Great lodge in Moshi and would definitely recommend it.

It was a great delight in this guest house together with my host Gabriel! He made me feel like I’m home and came up with a great plan of going to the waterfalls nearby the Mt. Kilimanjaro and afterwards a tour to the local coffee plantage where I was making the freshest cup of coffee I’ve ever had (straight from crushing my own beans to my cup of strong arabica roast!). The room was tiny, but convenient for your entire stay and you will have a lovely view upon the Mt. Kilimanjaro! Gabriel can also facilitate many tours like safari’s or an entire trekking to the summit (or a day trekking) of the heart of mother Africa; Mt Kili. Definitely a great recommendation if you’re planning to visit or travelling to Moshi, Tanzania 🇹🇿🤩

Beautiful views of Kilimanjaro in a quiet and comfortable location. The staff were incredible, Gabriel, Erica, and the other staff always went above and beyond. They took us into town when we needed an ATM, cleaned my shoes after a muddy hike, and prepared breakfast really early when we had a morning flight. Everything about the stay was perfect.

An excellent choice for staying in Moshi! Clear views of Kilimanjaro from the top floor and very nice, comfortable rooms. The property owner, Gabriel was very helpful and attentive in making sure my stay was an enjoyable one. The food and restaurant service was very good. Exceptional value for money here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again on a return trip to Moshi.

We had only intended to stay one night but liked it so much that we based ourselved here for our whole trip We immediately felt comfortable and at home The owner was very welcoming and helpful, taking time to show us around the area. The garden area is a great area to relax between trips it also feels very quiet and safe

The rooms got quite hot despite the ceiling fan. The power supply in the area went off quite frequently although there was a generator on .site. finally the beds were quite firm .

The view in the morning on the kilimanjaro is amazing, the owner and the team is incredible nice, always trying to make your stay unforgettable. We enjoyed it very much!

First, the hospitality was top notch, I couldn't have asked for more. Gabriel was friendly from the very start, to the end, and even helped my friend to find someone to fix his motorbike. Farida attended to us well too throughout our stay. They were flexible enough to change my room as I requested them and we were constantly in touch via WhatsApp and they were able to advice in all matters even when there was an attempted credit card theft.

The lighting in my room could have been better - apparently there was missing bulb. It would be good to facilitate card payments on site through a PDQ machine rather than having to go to the ATM to withdraw and very unfavourable rates.

Beautiful place on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. Very friendly staff and a great view of the mountain. t thoroughly recommend this place.
