Limited menu, but good food and service more than made up for this.

The rooms were lovely, with good heaters and comfortable seats and beds; we enjoyed the owner's stories about various equipment he has at the motel, told by the fireside. We had a choice of a paid hot, cooked breakfast or a free smaller one. The milk, cereal and coffee were fine for us. We liked the atmosphere of being in a small old town; a couple of trains went by, but were not noisy. There were many items for entertainment at the hotel. We slept very well.

The food was adequate, but not great; it's probably quite difficult to obtain fresh food there.
