Haveli Elephant Stable

The place is very well located (at the bottom of the fort in the former elephant stables). There is a very nice and calm garden. The family was very helpful and the thali was great. I recommend that place to stay in Bundi.

If you’re looking for 5* luxury it’s not the place for you. If you’re looking for fuctional, basic accommodation in a historical environment with amazing home cooked vegetarian food you can’t do better. Raj & Neemadidi will look after your every need and make you feel like family the second you walk in. Can’t recommend enough.

It is a nice and friendly place that8 is also very quiet. The rooms are simple with bathroom.

The owners are friendly and will make you a nice breakfast and if you lillke a Thali in the evening.

Raj and Neema welcomed us to their home and family with their big hearts and their beautiful smiles! The location is amazing, right next to the fort (the house is actually a part of it)! I insist that you try the dinner that this family prepares-the most authentic tastes in Rajastan! Sweet and genuine people that made our experience unique! Thank you very very much!

Our family of four loved our stay with Neema and Raj, and their gorgeous daughters, at the Elephant Stables. Best place to stay in Bundi! Simple, but perfectly located at the foot of the Palace. We felt so warmly welcomed, and enjoyed great conversations over delicious meals - both Neema and Raj are so knowledgeable about the area.

Everything was perfect!

Everything. The family is amazing. Not only the stay gives an aesthetic feeling, given it's part of the Taragarh Fort, the family and the food they made gives a homely feeling too. I stayed there for one night, but I ate there four meals. I had late night bus... The couple stayed awake and we kept chit chatting . And the family is so welcoming that in four hours I knew about their families, their relatives, their struggles as if I had known them for quite some time! Hemlata ji is an epitome of woman empowerment!

Everything was perfect. Great communication for arriving,the most delicious food cooked by Neema !! Comfy bed and en-suite bathroom. Raj and his family showed us the sights and taught us about their home and city's history. Neema is the only female guide for Bundi palace and she is amazing ! recommend !! We had the best time, so comfortable and they couldn't do enough to make us welcome - we stayed longer because we didn't want to leave. Lovely hosts, authentic Guesthouse, best authentic homecooked food, you feel like part of the family. Basic room but you have Everything you need & its very clean. Recommend to stay here and create memories for a lifetime. Raj and Nami also guided me for a reasonable price to the Palace and to various places in and around Bundi and shared all their knowledge with me. it seems that People keep coming back and After 2 Nights here I understand why. Come and get the experience.

Raj and Neema are wonderful hosts, it is a very spécial location basically in/on the palace itself. Also Neema's cooking is top notch simple, but filling and delicious home food.
