The hotel is v comfortable

The fact that they had two weddings during our stay meant the staff, particularly in the bar, were stressed and unable to cope. However, the staff at dinner, breakfast and lunch in the garden room restaurant were excellent as was the food

Amazing hotel and park experience

Bar could be open a little later.

Everything but especially the freedom to roam around outside of 'normal' hours & the wonderful staff. HIM The gorillas & the staff. HER

Nothing apart from the speeding ticket for being 2mph over the limit on the M25 coming home. HIM The bar at the hotel closing early without warning! HER

A unique stay in a fascinating house in the middle of a safari park. All the staff were lovely and the room and breakfast were great. The inclusion of golf buggy, safari tour and entry to Howletts were much appreciated.

We enjoyed everything about the stay.

Loved everything from the minute we arrived until we left, in fact wished we'd stayed longer

Nothing to dislike at all

Exceptional location and hotel very beautifully decorated. The surrounding area it’s breathtaking and the walks around the animal’s enclosures quiet easy to navigate.

Restaurants, cafes are located quite apart from each other and without a buggy it’s hard to get from one location to another.

Gorgeous hotel bursting with character. The location was great for staying over as it is pretty central to the whole park and restaurants, also directly opposite concierge which is handy. As it is one of the more affordable ways to stay at the park I was dubious but it still felt luxurious and we got to experience all of the same add ons , like the golf buggy , as the other lodges/ huts etc. highly recommend , will definitely be back !

nothing huge to note, the bathroom was dated but it was in keeping of the house/ period.
