Port Lympne Mansion Hotel

The room and the location in the park are excellent. Staff very helpful. The hotel is very elegant. Having a golf buggy provided to use in the park was very useful.

No temperature control in the room, it did get too hot, but it is a lovely old building so maybe it has to be like this. The on site restaurant was temporarily closed so it had to be a buggy ride for breakfast and dinner but this was fun. It will be open again by the time you read this.

Amazing stay!!!! Loved the treehouse fire room so cosy spent all night there was such nice quality time with my partner

Great character and space, it was warm, but you have a fan. The grounds are superb, the buggy is such fun, plenty to explore and good food. Perfect family trip.

Bed mattress could have been better, but that’s it.

Breakfast was very good and served to table - but would be nice to have also self service. Atmosphere is unique. Got golf-buggy to our usage - it was great way to visit animal park. Was great to see animals and most of them had big enclosures.

Services after leaving the room could be better. For example golf-buggy useage. Transportation from Port Lympne to Howletts thru Hotell would be nice.

The hotel was so clean, beautiful, and historic. Safari truck ride, delicious breakfast were already included on our booking for 2. Also my 5 year old was given complimentary safari truck ride, extra bed and breakfast. It was a last minute booking and it was the decision I made this summer

It was summer and no AC. We were only given a fan.

The staff polite friendly the restaurants were great although we are a older couple we celebrated our diamond anniversary using the buggy was helpful we needed more signs to find areas we stayed 3 days and missed a lot have to come again

The hotel room was beautiful and we loved going out in the golf buggy after the zoo was a fantastic experience. We ate at Bear Lodge restaurant in the evening, I had the most delicious vegetarian burger ever, so nice to have something made of actual vegetables and not a slab of fake meat. The breakfast next morning in the 'garden room' was also wonderful.

We had a slight issue with bees or wasps coming into the room from a nest outside of our window but it was mid-summer with beautiful flowers outside. It might be worth the hotel checking the window seals to avoid this in future.
