Matsunoki-tei

Super close to Tsugaike resort, staff are super nice. They helped us with getting ski lift tickets, gave us recommendations for ski rental places and helped us send our luggage ahead to our next hotel. There is a drying room for skiing equipment. There are some very nice restaurants and a convenience store in the same street. Lovely view of the mountains from the room.

Our room didn't have curtains which made it a bit bright at night, however the lady at the reception desk was very helpful and sorted out a temporary solution for us which worked perfectly. She also took measurements to add curtains in the future.

スキー場に近く、女将さんがすごく優しく、色々な事に迅速に対応してくださった。

外国人が雪のシーズンだけ働いているのでしょうがないと思いますが、どこに何が置いてあるかは把握して欲しかったです。

スキー道具があれば、宿からスキーゲレンデの脇まで、１～２分で到着して滑り始めることができる。

外国人が多く、遅くまで起きて音を立てている。

Good location, we could practically cross the street and ski out.. the staffs are very helpful and Friendly, including the owner was accommodating to our request to send our lost item to next destination in Osaka..

Need better lighting for the japanese style room, plus no bathroom.. but they have a great onsen down in the basement which was great after a day of skiing.

There is only one reason for less than 10 out of 10 for comfort, wife did not warn the children (or me) the beds were traditional sleeping futons and doonas. They still slept well after skiing. They will one day appreciate the cultural experience which to me was a bonusOur host was like a true house mother there from dawn till late always looking to please. Being in the snow her staff were Aussies, Kiwis and a Pom. All having agreat time and being always in a great mood so it was always a very freindly atmosphere. So much so random guest would stop for a chat adding to the club like atmoshere. We also experienced the chefs opening night. If thats the starting point the future looks great.

The snow, we went a bit early.
