Great location with the resort being just across the street and a good variety of dining options around. The staff was kind and helpful. Just a reminder for visitors: only cash was accepted here and there was no ATM in the Tsugaike area.

You could not get a better location to the Tsugaike ski resort. The accomodation is good value for money.

We stayed at Matsunoki Tei for six nights and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were excellent, making our stay very comfortable. The food was delicious, with generous portions and a great variety of dishes to try. The location is perfect, right next to the slope, making it incredibly convenient for skiing. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and kind, adding to the overall warmth of our stay. A special thank you to Chris-san for his exceptional hospitality—he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. His kindness and dedication made our stay even more enjoyable.

Great location for jumping straight onto the slopes and short stomp to the bus station. Great facilities near by. The traditional Japanese Ryoken has a wonderful Onsem and serves a Japanese meal and Breakfast each morning.

Food was excellent, location was great (walk across the street and you're on the ski slopes!) and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

We ended up in a "western-style" room - beds for the adults were narrow, but very comfortable. The fold-out couch situation for my 11yo was very sloped and did not seem super comfy.

The host is extremely helpful and friendly. She helped us to send ski gears to the airport thru Yamato and gave us a lift to nearby bus stop. She’s very passionate and care about our stay experience. The stay also has a mini onsen for relax after the ski day.
