Calet Hotel

The location was nice. Breakfast wasn’t bad.

Several things need some attention. Firstly the hotel is so damp, the walls are sweating constantly which give it a bit of a damp smell in areas- plus this caused the stairs to be really slippery which I found out by nearly rolling down them! The tv in our room kept switching itself on in the middle of the night at full volume - there’s no plug to unplug the tv - it’s wired into the wall! The bathroom plug must be ornamental because water refused to go down it. The bathroom could be advertised as a swimming pool. Lastly the host. Though he comes across as a very friendly person (which he is) he’s very persistent and insistent on draining every penny he can out of you which makes passing him somewhat awkward. Literally every conversation he tried selling us tours, tickets and even when we were leaving he was explaining how he can arrange tickets in different cities. I think he needs to relax and let people decide without a 3rd voice in their ear. That been said he was a really nice guy and I wish him well.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We got a good restaurant recommendation. In addition if you need to book any tours, you can do them directly with the hotel. The room was what was promised. The bed was comfortable.

The shower didn't have a curtain (water going everywhere) and the water stream was not that strong.

Jay was a great host who did everything he could to make our stay as good as possible and sorted us with lots of activities and catered to our every need good location near lots of nice bars and restraunts

Jay was so helpful with everything. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is ok. Good location. Great bed!

Very kind staff, nice rooms, good breakfast! Recommended a really fun tour, so happy we did it!

Rooms could be painted but they were still nice, and some consistent AC would be good as the room did feel a bit moist.

The personal service is amazing, jay goes above and beyond to accommodate the guests. He always checks on us to make sure we have the best stay possible
