The Commodore Hotel

The Commodore is a wonderful place to stay. helpful, caring warm and very friendly staff. Having stayed there a few times we always find it a very clean inviting hotel and certainly good value for money!!

Another wonderful relaxing stay at this little gem of a Hotel. We were met with a smile and a welcome cup of tea on the terrace. Our room had a magical view across the estuary and was spotlessly clean and comfortable.. Our evening dinner was delicious and we all enjoyed our meals. We will certainly return again next September.

From our initial welcome and exuberance from Gary to the staff who looked after us during our stay at The Commodore, thank you. We knew that we had made the right choice to return to Instow. Spotless as always. Oh that view and the superb food. What more could you want. Truly a memorable stay and the memory bank was certainly refreshed for the Autumn.

A truly outstanding hotel in every way which cannot be faulted. All members of staff are friendly, approachable and very professional. The food is wonderful in both taste and presentation. This should be a 5 star establishment and we cannot wait to return

Five night stay. A very enjoyable experience with excellent food, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable accommodation. The very fine setting is enhanced by a traditional approach to guests and their comfort. We had no complaints and can highly recommended the hotel.

From the time we walked through the front door of The Commodore Hotel the service was Superb. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. Our room was very comfortable and spotless, the view from our room was stunning! We had a very special weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary, we will be back!

We were very warmly welcomed, our bags taken to the room and a cup of tea provided in the lounge - very pleasant. The staff in general were very friendly and helpful. However our room, (no 2) was disappointing due to:- 1) The room was big enough but the double bed was too small, which gave the feeling we were going to fall-out at anytime. 2) There were no curtains, only shutters that didn’t block out the sunlight 3) The shower was very poor being tiny and with a very limited flow of water

Fantastic hotel, clean, fresh, staff were very helpful & friendly. Will definitely return. Highly recommended. Amazing views.

Nothing to dislike

Wonderful views, luxurious surroundings and truly delectable food all combine to make The Commodore a little slice of heaven by the water. The attentive, highly efficient and amiable staff were kind, welcoming-and deliciously forthcoming with cups of tea. We can’t wait to come back!
